Solara isn't responding to commands
Solara isn't responding to commands
- Check that Solara has Send Messages and Embed Links permissions in the channel where you are running the command.
- Confirm that Solara’s role is not being overridden by a role that restricts it. Open Server Settings > Roles and verify the permission hierarchy.
- Run
/pingor another simple command to confirm whether the bot is reachable at all. - If you changed the prefix, remember that slash commands (e.g.
/ban,/config) always work regardless of prefix — try using/commands directly.
Auto-mod is flagging legitimate messages
Auto-mod is flagging legitimate messages
- Adjust the auto-mod sensitivity in
/configor from the Moderation settings panel in the dashboard — lower the sensitivity to reduce false positives. - Add trusted roles to the auto-mod bypass list so staff or verified members are not affected by filters.
- Review the banned words list in the dashboard and remove or refine entries that are matching unintended messages.
Logging isn't working
Logging isn't working
- Run
/logs setupto confirm that a channel has been assigned for the event type that isn’t logging. - Check that Solara has View Channel and Send Messages permissions in the log channel you have assigned.
- Check whether the source channel is in the
/ignore-channellist — ignored channels are excluded from all logging.

The dashboard link doesn't work
The dashboard link doesn't work

/dashboardagain to receive a fresh link. - Make sure you are logged into Discord in the browser you are using to open the link. The dashboard uses your Discord session to verify your identity and server permissions.
Commands are returning permission errors
Commands are returning permission errors
- Open Server Settings > Roles and confirm that Solara’s role is positioned above the roles it needs to manage. Discord enforces a strict role hierarchy for all role-related actions.
- For moderation commands to work correctly, Solara needs the Kick Members, Ban Members, or Moderate Members permission depending on the command being used.
